At our local Fraser Coast Wildlife Sanctuary, 98% of the income is generated through visitors – which is at a halt until Stage 3 (expected to be July 11th).
The Sanctuary is completely run by volunteers, and therefore has been ineligible to qualify for the government subsidies – yet the animals still need to be fed and watered. The Sanctuary is reaching out to the community to assist them during these tough times to ensure the animals do not go without.
You can find a donation barrel located in front of Coles for your convenience, alternatively you can donate directly to the Sanctuary.
